HOW MANY WEEKS
When you receive a pregnancy test at Hand 'n Hand and the result indicates a positive result, the next step is to determine how far along you are in the pregnancy. You will need to provide us with the first day of your last period, even though conception is usually two weeks later. Your caregiver will give you an estimated due date based on your last menstrual cycle. This information can be very helpful as you consider what options are available to you.
FREE AND CONFIDENTIAL PREGNANCY TESTS
Hand 'n Hand Pregnancy Help Center offers free and confidential pregnancy tests that are 99% accurate as early as 7-10 days after conception. Our tests are more accurate and sensitive than most over-the-counter pregnancy tests. The result of your test will be given to you at your pregnancy test appointment. We will also provide you with a pregnancy verification form for you to take with you. A positive urine pregnancy test suggests a pregnancy, but should always be confirmed with a medical professional.
DON'T PANIC
Take a deep breath and try not to panic. You can't change what has happened, but you can carefully consider your next step. We are here to help.
